26-year-old man arrested for threatening to kill his mother for no just reason in Nasarawa State

A 26-year-old man, Kamaldin Abu Sabo, has been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill his mother in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Parading the suspect before newsmen on Monday the State’s NSCDC commandant, Mahmud Gidado Fari said the mother of the suspect reported that her son has been threatening to kill her for no just reason on numerous occasions.

“That is why we have arrested him and would soon charge him to court.”

The suspect, a tailor, who had a skull tattoo on his right arm with scars on his face and body, however denied the allegation.

“I do not agree with the statement of the NSCDC that my mother reported me, it was my elder brother who reported me to the NSCDC,” he added. He said, I am not a cultist, when asked why he has a tattoo of a skull on his right arm, he said, “I had the tattoo because of the fancy I have for it, but I am not a cultist.”
